Welcome to my portfolio, a curated compilation highlighting a decade of my life and work. Explore glimpses of my Altadena home, witness the impact of land restoration in my community, and join me in sharing a vision that seeks to reconnect our spirit with the earth. This collection weaves together personal and professional chapters of my life into a presentation I hope you will enjoy.

In the role of Community Builder
I have worked to explore the interdependence between ecological restoration and community well-being. Over the past several years I've led initiatives that address the impacts of urbanization on both the land and its inhabitants. Our team at Arlington Garden Pasadena has successfully developed and implemented a variety of educational programs including field trips, free Weekend Workshops, Roots and Regeneration with local BIPOC experts, and online podcasts and webinars like Earth Share. We have also generated materials including a comprehensive field guide, watershed map, tree survey, and accessibility map. These resources, freely shared with the community, serve as invaluable tools for local schools and volunteers.

My leadership extends to fostering partnerships with local environmental organizations like Outward Bound Adventures, the California Conservation Corps, Audubon, API Forward, the Mycological Society, and Nature for All. Collaborating with these entities, we've engaged in urban ecosystem restoration, skill-building workshops, and initiatives that connect people to nature. Through our work, we've not only revitalized the land but have also strengthened the bonds within our community.

One noteworthy accomplishment has been our collaboration with the Environmental Restoration Team at Outward Bound Adventures, providing hands-on experiences in urban ecosystem restoration. Additionally, our partnership with the California Conservation Corps and local professionals has enabled us to conduct vital work ranging from irrigation projects to comprehensive tree surveys. These endeavors have not only enriched the land but have also contributed to the skill development and education of volunteers and local students.

Arlington Garden stands as a living testament to the symbiotic relationship between the health of the land and the well-being of the community. Our programs have facilitated regular educational field trips for Pasadena Unified students and other local schools, while our volunteers benefit from weekly work opportunities and bi-monthly educational workshops.

As I aspire to further contribute to the ongoing conversation around land relationships, I am excited to build on my experiences at Arlington Garden. My commitment to community-driven environmental initiatives, coupled with a passion for understanding the intricate dynamics between community, land, and environmental health, motivates me to seek out opportunities for deeper engagement.
